Yes, Bend Races proudly sponsors local nonprofits at each race. You can read more about them at the bottom of each race page.

Each nonprofit helps us secure aid station volunteers in exchange for marketing and a portion of each registration.

Absolutely! We encourage everyone to participate. All we ask is that walkers start in the back to allow the faster runners to get through. All of our courses will close at 1pm, except for our Haulin Aspen course which closes at 1:30pm.

All courses will have mile markers. Courses will be marked with directional arrows & signs.

Unless it is noted that the race is untimed, all of our races will be professionally timed by Eclectic Edge Racing and results posted online no later than the Sunday after race day. The results will also be available immediately following the race.

No, we ask that you leave Fido at home. Service dogs are allowed, but we ask that you notify the race director prior to the event: race@layitoutevents.com.

We love to run with music too!  All we ask is that you consider only having your headphones in one ear and/or keep the volume of your music reasonable so you can be aware of your surroundings and other people on the course.
