Need a little nature therapy and some time away?
Enjoy some bonding time with women of all ages and levels in the appropriately-named town of Sisters, Oregon. Choose between the all-women’s trail half marathon featuring single-track in the Deschutes National Forest (on the Peterson Ridge Trail system) with some pretty stellar views or take part in the 5K and 10K road race that winds through scenic downtown Sisters. All races cross the same finish line, welcoming all to enjoy the beautiful FivePine campus under the towering Ponderosa pines.
The Happy Girls Sisters half marathoners will enjoy spectacular single track beginning and ending at FivePine Lodge (at an elevation of 3182 feet). The course weaves through the Deschutes National Forest offering stunning views and rolling terrain amongst the Ponderosa pines. There will be some elevation change and some climbing in the beginning, so come ready for a challenge. Sections of the trail are narrow and rocky.
10K and 5K runners can expect a mix of pavement and trail on this fast and fun course that winds through downtown Sisters. The course is relatively flat, so expect fast times!

Gear Drop
Tags for your bags and gear will be available at packet pick up and on site the morning of the race.
Drop your gear at the bag drop tent and retrieve it after the run.
Aid Stations
There are three on the half marathon course, not including the start and finish line.
There will two aid stations on the 10K course.
There is one aid station on the 5K course.
Aid stations will be fully supplied with water, GU Brew and GU gels.
Post-Race Celebration
Saturday, October 26 | FivePine Lodge
All races finish back at the FivePine Lodge and Conference Center. Catch your breath, grab some water and look for the food tent, where you’ll find coffee, cocktails and an amazing spread, including hot soup (just what you’ve been waiting for!)
Check in with the timer and receive a special Happy Girls ticket which includes with your printed race time!
Enjoy the post-race party, catch up with friends and fellow runners and cheer on those racers coming in! Awards ceremony will follow!

The Sisters Park & Recreation District was founded in 1995 as a nonprofit organization to provide recreation, sports and enrichment programs for Sisters area youth and families. They offer a year round schedule of programs for kids and adults including wide variety of activities including: after school programs, two preschool programs, summer camps, tutoring, youth and adult sports, outdoor recreation, fitness, cultural and martial arts programs. More than 150 people come to the SPRD Coffield Community Center each day to participate in programs while over 3000 kids participate in the programs annually.
