Now kids can join in on the racing fun! Instill your love for running and the outdoors.
Not only is this race series a chance for little ones ages 3-10 to be a part of the “Big Kid” races, but it’s also a great way to teach children how to lead a healthy lifestyle. The races are non-competitive — everyone receives a finishers ribbon for participating! Distances vary based on age and location but is always less than a mile.

Kids Mini Marshmallow Run

Kids will run from station to station collecting cocoa ingredients, and as they cross the finish line they will get the final touch — a splash of hot chocolate and a finisher ribbon!
Little Fry Run

Help your Little Fry hatch into runner—enter them into the Little Fry Run! If you’re child is too young to run with the big salmon, this fun run will still get them moving upstream!

The Balloon Blast combines obstacles with a colorful course, perfect for kids ages 3-10. The exciting obstacles are appropriate for all types of children with a wide range of skill levels to tackle.

Each little runner will receive a pumpkin to take back to the Bend Family Play Zone’s Pumpkin Painting Station after the race.
Race more, earn more
The more kids participate the more they earn. Starting at their second race, kids have the opportunity to win cool prizes. Collect a stamp on your bib from each race to claim your prize!
Included with every race! Each kiddo will receive a custom Kids Rock bib, finishers ribbon and a Clif Bar.
Kids will receive additional cool and themed prizes at each race, including a mini balloon, pumpkins and more!
